Goal.com has released their Goal 50 2020 rankings and they include a familiar face to MLS fans.

Former Vancouver Whitecaps FC star and Bayern Munich left back Alphonso Davies was named to the list, coming in at No. 20, just ahead of goalkeeper and Bayern teammate Manuel Neuer and one spot below prolific Lazio striker Ciro Immobile.

Goal's rankings also include the top 25 best female players in the world, which featured several US women's national team standouts including Abby Dahlkemper, Julie Ertz and Crystal Dunn.

This one is coming in late, but it's yet another individual honor for the 20-year-old Davies in recognition of his breakout campaign for Bayern last season that saw him emerge as one of the top young talents in the world, and help the German giants to another Bundesliga title and a UEFA Champions League triumph.

It's been a more challenging season for Davies so far in 2020, as he's endured an ankle injury and seen some increased competition at his position, but his upside remains high as ever.
