Multiple MLS teams could join D.C. United and Queretaro in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday night, as the LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps all have a shot to clinch their groups.

After winning their first two matches by a 10-1 margin, the Galaxy can cinch up Group D with a win or a draw on Wednesday night at Trinidadian club Central FC (8 pm ET, Fox Soccer Plus). A result would push LA to their fourth knockout round appearance in the last five years, potentially setting up the star-studded Galaxy for what would be a historic run to a CCL championship.

Regardless of what happens on Wednesday, LA likely have Group D in the bag. Things are far more up for grabs in Group F, which Cascadia rivals Seattle and Vancouver each have a shot to clinch on Wednesday when the Sounders host the Whitecaps at CenturyLink Field (10 pm ET, FS2 in the US, Sportsnet One in Canada).

A win for either team would give them the group title. A Vancouver victory would give the 'Caps seven points through three games, three more than the Sounders (who complete group play on Wednesday) and four ahead of Honduran club Olimpia, who finish up against Vancouver in Round 6. Seattle would also get to seven points with the win, four ahead of Olimpia and three ahead of Vancouver, who – even if they beat Olimpia in the Group F finale – would lose out to Seattle via a head-to-head tiebreaker.

A draw between Seattle and Vancouver would eliminate the Sounders and set up a decisive meeting between Vancouver and Olimpia on Oct. 22 in Honduras.

Defending CCL champs Club América could also book their spot in the quarters this week, as the Mexican giants will win Group E if Honduran club Motagua fails to beat Nicaraguan side Walter Ferretti on Thursday night. The remaining group winners will all be decided in the final round of CCL group matches next month.
