D.C. UNITED vs PHILADELPHIA UNION
RFK STADIUM, Washington, D.C.
May 30, 2015 (WEEK 13, MLS Game #128)
7 p.m. ET (MLS LIVE)

D.C. United and Philadelphia Union renew their I-95 rivalry for a second time in three weeks when the Eastern Conference clubs face off at RFK Stadium on Saturday evening. United return home off a quick West Coast trip that ended their three-match away run without a victory, suffering a 1-0 defeat on Wednesday at the Portland Timbers. Union come into the match off back-to-back victories, their last a 2-0 win at the New York Red Bulls last Sunday.

  • The teams are meeting for the second time this season. Zach Pfeffer scored the game’s only goal deep into second-half stoppage time to give Union a 1-0 win May 17 at PPL Park.
  • The Union win was their first against United since Aug. 10, 2013, a 1-0 victory in Chester, snapping a three-game winless streak in league play in the series.
  • Jairo Arrieta scored his third goal of the season – assisted by Facundo Coria, making his MLS debut – as United reached a 1-1 draw at the New England Revolution last weekend.
  • Union have won back-to-back games for the first time this season as Vincent Nogueira and C.J. Sapong scored in the 2-0 win against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday afternoon at Red Bull Arena. Both goals were set up by Cristian Maidana.
