Which New York club scored the better goal?
The debut of the actual rivalry is coming (May 10), but Week 1 saw both the New York Red Bulls and their new, metropolitan-area-sharing brethren, New York City FC, record 1-1 draws on the road against Eastern Conference opponents.
They even scored their goals in similar fashion. Mix Diskerud curled in the first goal in New York City FC history from just outside the penalty area and Lloyd Sam tied the Red Bulls' game from a similar spot, although Sam did a little more individual work with the ball to get into that position.
So we ask: Who bent it best? Mix or Sam?
