Save of the Week

Houston Dynamo's Tyler Deric wins second straight MLS Save of the Week award for Vayrynen stop

Save of the Week award: Twice as nice for Dynamo's Deric?

Tyler Deric is on a tear.

The Houston Dynamo goalkeeper has secured his second straight MLS Save of the Week honor, with his award-winning stop of LA Galaxy midfielder Mika Vayrynen following hard on the heels of last week's sensational parry of a Kaká free-kick bid.

The New York Red Bulls’ Luis Robles came in second, barely nipping past San Jose’s David Bingham. Colorado’s Clint Irwin and New York City FC’s Josh Saunders brought up the rear in this week's count.
