It hasn't been long but Sebastian Lletget has already made his mark on the LA Galaxy.
Since signing with the club back on May 8, Lletget has appeared in seven games and scored four goals.
He is basically scoring a goal for every 90 minutes played (4 in 376 minutes), which is the highest rate in the league. Of course this is a very small sample size, with many players having already topped 1,000 minutes so far, the the league leaders regularly clocking in at over 2500 minutes by the time the final regular season ball is kicked.
Nonetheless, Lletget's start is still very impressive, especially after biding his time at West Ham United for so many years.

Lletget's four goals in his first seven MLS games also puts him into a special class in MLS history. The former US youth international is just the seventh player under the age of 23 to score at least four goals in his first seven games.
Of course the other six were all pure strikers. Lletget's got a nose for goal, but he's most often been used in midfield by the Galaxy thus far:
Players to score 4+ goals in first 7 games, 23 or under | |||
Player | Team | Goals | # of Games |
Carlos Ruiz | LA Galaxy | 4 | 2 |
Patrick Mullins | New England Revolution | 4 | 5 |
Taylor Twellman | New England Revolution | 4 | 5 |
Stern John | Columbus Crew SC | 4 | 6 |
Erick Torres | Chivas USA | 4 | 6 |
Will Bruin | Houston Dynamo | 4 | 7 |
Sebastian Lletget | LA Galaxy | 4 | 7 |
That's some elite company for the least heralded of LA's trio ofmidseason signings. The new guys in town will have their work cut out for them in matching Lletget's influence and productivity.
