Disciplinary Committee suspends Whitecaps' Rodriguez for two games

Vancouver Whitecaps defender Diego Rodriguez has been suspended two games for violent conduct toward Orlando City SC defender Aurélien Collin in the 62nd minute of Saturday’s game (video above).


After reviewing the play, it was the unanimous decision of the MLS Disciplinary Committee that the action constituted violent conduct toward an opponent. Rodriguez has also been fined.
