Didn't play their best, but continue to find answers. Now they'll need to find another one in central defense, since Matt Miazga won't be around for at least a month.
- Last Week: Won vs. NYCFC, 2-1

- This Week: Friday at Dallas (9 pm; UDN/UnivisionDeportes.com)

Definitely did not look like the best by-the-numbers defensive team in the league. Brad Evans got himself another education, as did Dylan Remick.
- Last Week: Lost at Columbus, 3-2
- Last Five: L-W-W-W-L
- This Week: Saturday at Vancouver (7 pm; MLS LIVE/TSN1)

For 75 minutes they were boxed up and out of ideas. Then Mauro Diaz conjured a bit of magic and FCD walked away with a deserved three points.
- Last Week: Won vs. LA, 2-1

The Revs are relentless and often beautiful in attack, but they have an obvious weakness – aerial ability in the back – that continues to cost them points.
- Last Week: Drew at Orlando City, 2-2
- Last Five: D-W-W-W-D
- This Week: Saturday vs. Toronto (7:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Seven straight unbeaten, and they're showing the ability to do it with style. Getting Fabian Espindola back and healthy is, however, the biggest priority.
- Last Week: Drew vs. Sporting KC, 1-1
- Last Five: D-D-W-W-D
- This Week: Wednesday vs. Orlando City (8 pm; ESPN2/ESPN Deportes/WatchESPN/TSN5); Sunday at Philadelphia (7 pm; FOX Sports 1/FOX Deportes/FOX Sports GO)

Absolutely fearsome in transition and when feasting upon careless turnovers. The 'Caps still have work to do, but their spot at the top of the West isn't a mistake.
- Last Week: Won vs. Philadelphia, 3-0
- Last Five: L-W-L-D-W
- This Week: Saturday vs. Seattle (7 pm; TSN1/MLS LIVE)

Bounced back from that loss to D.C. by scoring three or more goals for the third time in four games. The absence of Wil Trapp, however, is starting to show itself as Columbus have been soft in Zone 14.
- Last Week: Won vs. Seattle, 3-2
- Last Five: D-W-W-L-W
- This Week: Saturday at San Jose (10:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Had themselves in position to get six points, but came away with only one. It was a very un-Galaxy week.
- Last Week: Drew at RSL, 0-0; Lost at Dallas 2-1
- Last Five: W-D-D-D-L
- This Week: Sunday at Orlando City (5 pm; ESPN2/ESPN Deportes/WatchESPN/TSN2)

That last five isn't particularly pretty, but Sporting played a damn good game at United this past weekend. Soni Mustivar continues to look like the answer at d-mid.
- Last Week: Drew at D.C. United, 1-1
- Last Five: D-L-D-W-D
- This Week: Saturday vs. Colorado (8:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Diego Valeri is back and has quite possibly brought the good times back to the Rose City as well.
- Last Week: Won at Montreal, 2-1
- Last Five: L-W-L-D-W
- This Week: Saturday at Houston (8:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

After two months of dormancy, a switch to the 4-1-3-2 finally sparked the attack to life. Problem is the guy at the center of it – youngster Jordan Allen – is now off to the U-20 World Cup.
- Last Week: Drew vs. LA, 0-0; Won at Chicago 2-1
- Last Five: L-L-D-D-W
- This Week: Saturday at Montreal (4 pm; TSN/MLS LIVE)

The Quakes were ugly as sin this past week, but they walked away from two intra-conference road games with four points. That's the definition of a good road trip.
- Last Week: Won at Houston, 1-0; Drew at Colorado, 1-1
- Last Five: W-L-D-W-D
- This Week: Saturday vs. Columbus (10:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Giles Barnes was absolutely devastating playing as a true No. 10 at Toronto. There's some dissension in the Power Rankings Politburo as to where exactly he ranks on the list of the league's most exciting players, but general agreement that the answer is "somewhere near the top."
- Last Week: Lost vs. San Jose, 1-0; Won at Toronto, 2-1
- Last Five: D-D-L-L-W
- This Week: Saturday vs. Portland (8:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Reds dead? Not quite, but redemption will be hard to come by in an environment as hostile as Foxborough this coming weekend. At least they seemed to hit upon a few answers in the second half this past weekend.
- Last Week: Lost vs. Houston, 2-1
- Last Five: L-L-W-W-L
- This Week: Saturday at New England (7:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

Lacked the ability to slow the game down or control where it was played, and RSL took advantage. Who'd have thought Mikey Stephens would be that crucial?
- Last Week: Lost vs. RSL, 2-1
- Last Five: W-W-W-L-L
- This Week: Friday at NYCFC (7 pm; UDN/UnivisionDeportes.com)

The Rapids are on pace for 23 draws. Even the 2014 Fire are impressed by that.
- Last Week: Drew vs. San Jose, 1-1

- This Week: Saturday at Sporting KC (8:30 pm; MLS LIVE)

They fought back for a nice point last weekend, but if this team is going to consistently challenge the best in the East, they're going to have to improve upon their ability to get out into transition.
- Last Week: Drew vs. New England, 2-2
- Last Five: L-W-L-L-D
- This Week: Wednesday at D.C. United (8 pm ET; ESPN2/ESPN Deportes/WatchESPN/TSN5); Sunday vs. LA (5 pm; ESPN2/ESPN Deportes/WatchESPN/TSN2)

And...that was ugly. Montreal need to put the CCL disappointment behind them and figure out how to do more than just play on the back foot.
- Last Week: Lost vs. Portland, 2-1
- Last Four: L-D-D-L-L
- This Week: Saturday vs. RSL (4 pm; TSN/MLS LIVE)

They aren't getting the contributions they expected from their stars, and the rest of the roster as a whole hasn't been good enough to make up for it. This group looks and plays like an expansion team.
- Last Week: Lost at New York, 2-1
- Last Five: D-L-L-L-L
- This Week: Friday vs. Chicago (7 pm; UDN/UnivisionDeportes.com)

Last year at this time, they were 1-5-5. It's impossible to imagine they've actually been worse, but it's true: Philly are now 1-7-3.
- Last Week: Lost at Vancouver, 3-0
- Last Five: D-L-L-L-L
- This Week: Sunday at D.C. United (7 pm; FOX Sports/FOX Deportes/FOX Sports GO)
