- Sporting are the only team to score in all their regular season matches in 2020, finding the back of the net in all 11 games.
- FC Dallas are winless in nine straight regular season away matches (0W-5L-4D) and have won just one of their last 16 on the road.
- Santiago Mosquera scored a hat trick against Colorado on Wednesday night, the first MLS hat-trick by an FC Dallas player in over two years.

- NYCFC earned up a 2-0 victory at New England back on Sept. 2, their second victory in seven all-time trips to Gillette Stadium.
- NYCFC have allowed only three goals since the regular season restarted in August, tied with Philadelphia and Columbus for fewest in MLS over that timespan.
- New England are still searching for final-third answers after Carles Gil had Achilles surgery, though Lee Nguyen provided bright moments in his substitute appearance last weekend.

- San Jose and Portland will meet for the second time in four days after battling to a 1-1 draw Wednesday evening.
- The Timbers scored first against San Jose on Wednesday, leading to the the eighth and ninth points they've dropped from winning positions this season.
- The Earthquakes are one of three teams without a home victory in 2020. New England FC Cincinnati are the others.
