Leaving it all out there? Jones to bare all for ESPN's Body Issue | SIDELINE

Jermaine Jones, New England Revolution 2015

New England Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones is known for leaving it all out on the field.

Now, he’s scheduled to leave almost nothing to our imaginations.

The US international is one of 24 athletes who will pose nude in ESPN The Magazine’s upcoming Body Issue, due out online on July 6 and on newsstands on July 10. US women’s national team player Ali Krieger will also be featured in the issue, as will a host of MLB, NBA, NFL and Olympic athletes.

“I’m proud of my body, I’m proud of my sport, I’m proud of being a professional athlete,” said Krieger, whose team will face Colombia in the Women’s World Cup Round of 16 on Monday night. “Being naked is just another aspect of that.”

We can only hope that ESPN got to Jones before he suffered his latest injury, a sports hernia issue that required surgery and will keep him off of the USMNT roster for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup.
