David Villa and Sergio Aguero showed off their set-piece skills once again in two additional editions of their skills challenge.
Villa, New York City FC’s first star signing, and Aguero, the star of sister club Manchester City, went head to head in crossbar and corner-kick challenges.
In the crossbar challenge, the two strikers took aim at the woodwork – not something fans will want to see come game days – from the edge of the penalty area. They each got 10 shots to show off their accuracy. Who would you put your money on?
The next challenge tested their corner kick acumen. Each player received 60 seconds to take shots at three goals, each a different size and assigned point totals – the farthest and smallest goal of course was the biggest prize. Check out who came on top in this one.
You can find their first challenge – a blindfolded PK contest – here.
