Returning home off a famous victory, Orlando City SC will play host to Vancouver Whitecaps FC when the clubs meet in an inter-conference matchup Saturday evening at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Orlando City won for the first time in their MLS history last weekend, claiming a 1-0 win at the Houston Dynamo in their second league match. Whitecaps FC took their first victory of the season last weekend, starting their road swing with a 1-0 win at the Chicago Fire.


  • Orlando City SC sit atop the Eastern Conference along with fellow expansion club NYCFC after their first victory in MLS, a 1-0 win at the Houston Dynamo on Friday evening where the only goal came via an own goal.
  • Octavio Rivero netted his second goal in as many games in his first two MLS contests, giving Vancouver Whitecaps FC a 1-0 victory at the Chicago Fire on Saturday afternoon.
  • David Ousted recorded his first shutout of the season in the Whitecaps FC victory at Chicago; he led MLS in 2014 with 13 clean sheets.
