Real Salt Lake's Olmes Garcia wins AT&T Goal of the Week thanks to wonderfully orchestrated set piece

Olmes Garcia - Week 17 Goal of the Week winner

He got the honor, but Real Salt Lake forward Olmes Garcia should thank his teammates for winning Week 17's AT&T Goal of the Week.


Garcia's tap-in was the result of a perfectly orchestrated set piece that involved passes from Luke Mulholland, Kyle Beckerman, and Joao Plata. Garcia's goal ended up taking home 51.7 percent of the vote after making a late surge over Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe, who ended up with 28.32 percent of the vote.


San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski, Toronto FC's Jozy Altidore, and Bradley Wright-Phillips of the New York Red Bulls all finished with less than 10 percent of the vote.
