Vancouver Whitecaps' David Ousted takes home Save of the Week honors for second straight week

Ousted wins SOTW for second week in a row

For the second week in a row Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted has taken home Save of the Week honors.


After winning the honors last week thanks to a save on a penalty kick from Bradley Wright-Phillips, Ousted doubled down on his efforts in Week 17. His leaping save on a London Woodberry snap-shot helped him garner 30.4 percent of the vote, sneaking by Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando, who collected 26.52 percent.


New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles finished third with 20.07 percent of the vote, and Stefan Frei of the Seattle Sounders collected 19 percent while the Chicago Fire's Sean Johnson finished in the back with four percent of the vote.
