Darren Mattocks will be training with the very best over the course of the next week. The very best of the English Championship, that is.


The Vancouver Whitecaps striker has joined AFC Bournemouth for a weeklong training stint through January 11. The Championship side currently sits in first place in the English Championship, one point ahead of Ipswich Town.



The Jamaican speedster finished the 2014 season with six goals and three assists and has 16 goals over the course of his three-year MLS career. The 24-year-old led Jamaica to a trophy in the Caribbean Cup in November and was a co-recipient of the tournament's Golden Boot, scoring three goals.
