MLS Save of the Week: Week 27

The Week 27 edition of MLS Save of the Week features full-stretch parries, aerial acrobatics and even a clutch kick save. Now it's your turn to decide which one deserves top honors.

Back-to-back reigning SotW champion Stefan Frei has been nominated yet again, this time for a nimble save in the Seattle Sounders' dramatic 2-1 home win over Toronto FC. The same match also offered up a worthy contender at the opposite end, as TFC's Chris Konopka has gotten the nod for a reaction save on an Obafemi Martins rocket.

They're joined by another regular presence in the weekly poll, Orlando City goalkeeper Tally Hall, thanks to his instinctive, sprawling stop vs. New England.

Also in the running is Chicago Fire standout Sean Johnson, who reacted quickly and superbly to make a leaping, backpedaling denial of Montreal playmaker Ignacio Piatti's cheeky chip. And the final spot goes to Philadelphia 'keeper John McCarthy, who was instrumental in the Union's upset road win over the San Jose Earthquakes.

Vote now for your pick! The winner will be announced Friday.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the MLS Save of the Week award – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
