What does Columbus Crew SC striker Kei Kamara do when he gets nervous? "I just dance"

Kamara reveals his method for coping with nerves

Don't be surprised if you see Kei Kamara do some dancing at MAPFRE Stadium on Sunday even before the final whistle blows on MLS Cup 2015.

That's because the star striker admitted at Friday's pregame press conference that he has a certain habit when he gets big-game jitters.

"When I’m nervous, I just dance," Kamara told reporters. "The more I dance, the less I worry about it."

The MLS Best XI selection has been famous for other dancing moments during his career -- namely, his goal celebrations which have included an Irish jig and even a Michael Jackson imitation, white glove and all (see video above).

But Sunday represents an occasion Kamara has yet to experience. The 31-year-old will be making his first appearance in an MLS Cup final (4 pm ET; ESPN / UniMás / TSN1,4 / RDS2) after just missing out in 2013 when he was transferred to Middlesbrough just a few months before his Sporting Kansas City team captured MLS Cup.

So don't be surprised if Kamara's nerves -- and dance moves -- are especially fine-tuned come Sunday.

"I’m not going to lie. I definitely do think about every minute since the final whistle in New York -- looking forward to Sunday, going to bed and thinking about it and going to training," Kamara said. "It’s a big game, it’s the game you want to play in. Doesn’t matter how nervous you’re going to get but we know that being at home, it’s our crowd that’s going to be behind us. I’ll be ready in the right ways and my nerves will turn into something good come gametime."
