Montreal Impact midfielder Bojan has been voted the MLS Player of the Week for Week 19 after scoring a goal and assisting on the game-winner in Montreal's 2-1 win over Inter Miami CF at Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

The 30-year-old Spaniard shot the Impact out to an early just six minutes into Saturday's contest, dribbling past a pair of defenders and ripping a bouncing shot from well outside the area past Miami goalkeeper John McCarthy and into the net.

After his team yielded a Miami equalizer, Bojan assisted on teammate Maxi Urruti's 80th-minute game-winner, collecting a ball from Romell Quioto and setting up Urruti with a pass right in front of goal for an easy tap-in.

Bojan now has three goals and two assists this season, with Montreal sitting at eighth in the Eastern Conference at 7-10-2 and 23 points.

The MLS Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season through both media and fan voting in a process conducted by MLS Communications. A panel of journalists from the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) comprises 75 percent of the vote, while a Twitter fan vote represents the remaining 25 percent of voting. NASR consists of members of print, television, radio and online media.
