Kaká called to Brazil national team for more World Cup qualifiers

With his first MLS regular season all but certainly concluding with this Sunday's #DecisionDay, Orlando City midfielder Kaká continues to be in demand.


Kaká was once again called up to the Brazil national team for their upcoming World Cup qualifying matches at Argentina (Nov. 13) and home against Peru (Nov. 17).



In the previous round of World Cup qualifiers, the first two of this campaign for Brazil, Kaká played 15 minutes as a substitute in the 3-1 win over Venezuela on Oct. 13 after he was an unused sub in a 2-0 loss at Chile on Oct. 8. Kaká was part of Brazil's World Cup-winning squad of 2002 and also played in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.


In his first year in MLS, Kaká has nine goals and seven assists in 27 games and was the MVP of the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game after leading the MLS All-Stars to victory over Tottenham Hotspur with a goal and an assist.


He has not been the only MLS player selected for South American World Cup qualifying matches, with FC Dallas winger Fabián Castillo earning his first looks with Colombia this year.



The Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs will break for the November FIFA international dates, with the conference semifinals concluding on Nov. 8 and the conference championships starting on Nov. 22.
